Buying a StabiX is a collaborative, structured process. You choose what matters to you — we take care of the detail, communication, and delivery.
THE STABIX BUILD PROCESS
-
Contact us to discuss the model you’re interested in, or to explore a bespoke build (amphibious or non-amphibious).
Every StabiX comes as a complete turnkey package, so there’s nothing you have to add, but there is plenty of scope to tailor the boat if you wish. We will take the time to understand how you plan to use the boat and guide you through features and options that best suit your boating lifestyle. We want this boat to feel purpose‑built for you.
-
We will work with you to understand your preferred build timing. We operate on a build‑slot basis, with some customers prioritising the earliest available slot, while others plan their build to align with seasons such as summer.
Once a suitable build slot is confirmed, a formal agreement will be finalised and a deposit received to secure your place in the build schedule.
-
This stage begins once the sheet metal has arrived and fabrication commences, including tubing and welding. From this point, customers will start receiving regular weekly updates, providing clear visibility on the progress of their build. These updates continue throughout the build process and right through to the point when the boat departs our factory.
-
Invercargill provides an ideal environment for on‑water testing. While we avoid testing in unsafe conditions, our boats are built to perform confidently in real‑world conditions, including choppy water. During testing, all systems are thoroughly checked, including electronics, outboards, steering, and control systems. Once testing has been successfully signed off, we start preparing the boat for handover and/or delivery.
-
Every StabiX owner receives a comprehensive handover, regardless of their location. We work closely with trusted delivery partners in both Australia and the United States to ensure a seamless experience from our workshop to your doorstep. Our team manages the entire logistics process, coordinating transport and delivery to make ownership as effortless as possible.
At delivery, owners are provided with a detailed operating manual, ensuring essential information is always readily available onboard. Prior to departure, each vessel undergoes a meticulous final inspection and detailing process, is wrapped where appropriate for protection, and is carefully prepared to arrive in pristine condition, ready for its next adventure.
-
A StabiX sale doesn’t end at delivery — once you buy a StabiX, you become part of the family.
We stand firmly behind our product and offer a generous warranty and support programme, all clearly outlined before purchase. If something isn’t quite right, whether it’s the boat itself or a supplier‑related component, we’re only a phone call away.
As a small, dedicated team, we pride ourselves on genuine, long‑term relationships with our owners, ensuring you feel supported, connected, and confident on the water for years to come.
