✕ Name: Paul (Pads) & Paul (Boomer)
✕ Location: Walkerville, Victoria
✕ Primary use: Fishing & family adventures
✕ Description: Pads and Boomer have faced their fair share of physical challenges, but investing in a StabiX 240UCC together has allowed them to keep boating and fishing the places they love. The toughest decision in the whole build? Agreeing on a colour—though both were happy with the final outcome.
‘It’s made life easy - I feel like I’m 40 again.’

✕ Name: Greg and Bonnie Chaney
✕ Location: Shelter Island, Alaska
✕ Primary use: Commuting
✕ Description: Greg and Bonnie had long dreamed of an amphibious boat to give them easier access to their remote home on Shelter Island. After years of using a small dinghy, loading and unloading had become increasingly cumbersome—especially in rough or changing weather. This StabiX was built to meet the realities of life on a remote Alaskan island, and what it takes to live where roads don’t exist.
‘The StabiX just feels so sturdy, and there is a great sense of safety in that.’
250UC - NZ
✕ Name: Owen Springford & Chrissy Parker
✕ Location: Manapōuri, Fiordland
✕ Primary use: Overnight Adventures
✕ Description: These owners live on the doorstep of one of the most stunning places in the world, yet overnight access and extended adventures had remained just out of reach. Unsuitable gear, limited space, and the logistics of camping made multi‑day trips impractical. To change that, they designed a 250UC with just two front seats, creating generous space for equipment and supplies—allowing them to load up, head out, and explore for weeks at a time.
‘I find that the two big problems of boating are launch and retrival, and anchoring and mooring. StabiX solves these two problems.”
✕ Name: Kent Hately
✕ Location: Three Hummock Islands, Tasmania
✕ Primary use: Fishing
✕ Description: Kent is now on his 4th Stabi - “Can’t fault them—unbelievable boats.” Going amphibious has effectively given Kent another 10 years on the water. By removing the need to trailer and making launching and retrieval effortless, it’s simplified the whole boating experience and eliminated many of the obstacles that were getting in the way.
“This way, I’ve set a goal of fishing until I’m 85, at least.”’

✕ Name: Damein Brown
✕ Location: Kangaroo Island, South Australia
✕ Primary use: Fishing / family boating
✕ Description: The Browns are a passionate fishing family, with their 240UCC a shared investment between father and sons. Based remotely, going amphibious has made their boating experience seamless, eliminating the need for constant tractoring back and forth. With young children frequently on board, the added safety of loading and launching directly from shore has been a particularly welcome change.
“There’s only one present you can give your family, particularly your children and grandchildren - and that’s time: your time.”
